Draping
I drape my clients with soft, luxurious flannel sheets.
I always have extra sheets and blankets on hand in case you
get cold, but I try to keep the room warm for your comfort.
You've probably seen massage ads that claim "Draping to
your Comfort Level." This generally means that it's OK
to be
undraped, and it's sometimes a code phrase that means you
can get more than just a massage for the right price.
When I say it, I'm really talking about your
comfort
level.
Some people like their drape tight, so they can
feel snug and safe. A snug drape is the best way to insure
modesty.
Some people like their drape loose, so they won't
feel closed in. If you are claustrophobic this might be the
best option.
Some people like minimal draping: using a bath
towel to retain their modesty while minimizing any fussing
around with the sheet.
Others like to use
no drape at all. There are a
variety of valid reasons for skipping the drape (and
one
that is less valid). About a third of my clients
prefer not to use a drape. However, most people in North Central
Texas feel more secure
with a drape, so I always use it unless you ask to
remove it.
And it should go without saying that if you choose to be
undraped, you
have to
behave yourself.

No matter what draping option you use, from tight to none
at all, I will treat your body with the same high
level of respect and professionalism.
I recommend using a full drape for your first
appointment. Please let me know what makes you feel
comfortable and secure. Call 214-395-8000 to schedule
your appointment and discuss any concerns you may have.

Note: if you are allergic to household
chemicals, please discuss it with me. I normally use fabric
softener on my sheets, but I keep a separate set of sheets
just for you, laundered without dyes, perfumes, or
softeners.
* Almost everyone does, but I have to
say it anyway.
